Stratevera Recruitment ("Stratevera", "we", "us", "our") is a community-based part-time recruitment service based in Dublin, Ireland. We connect students, newcomers to Ireland and part-time job seekers with employers who have part-time vacancies, primarily through our WhatsApp community, Instagram and LinkedIn channels and this website.
We promote vacancies, carry out basic screening of applicants, identify potentially suitable candidates and introduce those candidates to employers. We do not employ candidates, we do not conduct interviews on an employer's behalf, and we do not make hiring decisions. The employer is solely responsible for interviewing, selecting, offering, contracting and employing any candidate.
For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Acts 1988–2018, Stratevera Recruitment is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and our community channels.
This policy explains what personal data we collect about you, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and what rights you have. It applies to candidates, employers, community members and visitors to this website.
We take a deliberately minimal approach: we collect only what we need to introduce candidates to employers, we do not sell personal data to anyone, we do not run advertising networks on this site, and we do not track visitors across other websites.
Please do not send us special category data. That includes information about your health or disability, racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, political opinions, trade union membership, sex life or sexual orientation, genetic or biometric data, or details of criminal convictions. We do not require any of this to introduce you to an employer. If you send it to us unsolicited, we will delete it where we reasonably can.
We also ask that you do not send PPS numbers, bank details, passport scans or copies of identity documents through this website or the community. Employers may require identity and right-to-work documents directly from you at the point of hiring; that is between you and the employer.
Our services are intended for people aged 16 and over. The digital age of consent in Ireland is 16. If you are under 16, please do not submit your details to us; where a role is open to workers under 18, an employer must comply with the Protection of Young Persons (Employment) Act 1996, including parental or guardian consent and restrictions on working hours.
| Purpose | Lawful basis under GDPR |
|---|---|
| Registering you in our community and sending you vacancy information | Consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time |
| Screening your application and assessing suitability for a role | Steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract, and our legitimate interests in operating a recruitment service (Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)) |
| Introducing you and sharing your details with a specific employer | Consent for that introduction, and legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(f)) |
| Communicating with employers and managing vacancies | Contract or legitimate interests in providing our service (Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)) |
| Responding to enquiries sent through our forms | Legitimate interests in answering people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f)) |
| Keeping records, preventing fraud and abuse, and securing the website | Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) |
| Meeting legal, tax and regulatory obligations | Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered whether those interests are overridden by your rights and freedoms, and we have concluded they are not, because the data involved is limited, is what you would reasonably expect a recruitment service to hold, and is used only to help you find work or to help an employer fill a vacancy. You may object at any time (see Section 07).
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Screening decisions about which candidates to put forward are made by a person.
| Type of record | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Candidate details and CVs where no placement results | 12 months from your last contact with us, then deleted unless you ask us to keep them longer |
| Candidate details where an introduction or placement resulted | 2 years from the date of the introduction |
| Employer and vacancy records | 2 years from the end of the engagement |
| General enquiries through our forms | 12 months |
| Managed Applications documents and application records | 12 months from the end of your subscription |
| Subscription and billing records | 6 years, as required for tax purposes |
| WhatsApp community membership | For as long as you remain a member; you may leave at any time |
| Records required for tax, accounting or regulatory purposes | 6 years, as required by Irish law |
| Website security and server logs held by our providers | Short-term, in line with each provider's standard practice |
At the end of the applicable period we delete or securely destroy the data. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time (see Section 07).
You have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
Email strateverarecruitment@gmail.com with the words "Data Request" in the subject line, telling us which right you wish to exercise. We will respond within one month. That period may be extended by up to two further months for complex requests, in which case we will tell you within the first month. There is normally no charge. We may ask you for information to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you may lodge a complaint with the Irish supervisory authority:
We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first, but you are entitled to contact the Commission at any time.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the Data Protection Commission within 72 hours where required, and will inform affected individuals where the risk is high.
By accessing or using stratevera.com you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
We try to keep the website accurate and available, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from harmful components, that sample vacancies shown are currently open, or that any information will remain current. We may change, suspend or withdraw all or part of the site at any time without notice.
Where we link to third-party websites or social platforms, those links are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, practices or privacy policies.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stratevera Recruitment shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of earnings or loss of data arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this website, are governed by the laws of Ireland, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
Any employment contract, offer, wage, roster, probation term or workplace issue is a matter between you and the employer. Stratevera is not a party to that contract and is not your employer. Questions about your pay, hours, breaks, holidays or treatment at work should be raised with your employer, and if unresolved, with the Workplace Relations Commission or Citizens Information.
These terms apply if you subscribe to Managed Applications, our optional paid service for students and newcomers in Ireland. They form a contract between you and Stratevera Recruitment. Nothing in this section affects our free services, which remain free.
Managed Applications is a document preparation and application administration service. For a monthly subscription we prepare your application materials and submit applications to roles on your behalf, based on the criteria you give us.
It is expressly not a payment for obtaining employment, for being introduced to an employer, or for being considered for any vacancy. Every candidate we work with, subscriber or not, is screened and put forward on the same basis: suitability for the role. Subscribing gives you no priority with Stratevera and no advantage with any employer.
Managed Applications is not limited to part-time work. We apply for whatever roles you set out in your brief, which may include full-time employment, part-time employment, graduate programmes, internships, placements, apprenticeships, contract and temporary work. We only apply to roles that fall within the criteria you have given us, and we will not apply outside those criteria without asking you first.
Before we begin, you must complete our client brief and give the authorisations set out in it. By doing so you appoint Stratevera Recruitment as your agent for the limited purpose of preparing and submitting job applications on your behalf. That authorisation allows us to:
You may withdraw this authorisation at any time by writing to us, and we will stop submitting applications immediately.
We will never ask you for, and you must never send us, the password to any account you already hold. This includes your email, your LinkedIn, your Indeed account and any employer portal you have already registered with. If you send us such a password we will ask you to change it.
Where an employer requires an account in order to accept an application, we create a new account for you using an application mailbox that we set up in your name and administer on your behalf. Mail received at that mailbox is forwarded to the personal email address you gave in your brief, so that you see employer correspondence as it arrives. On request, and in any event when your subscription ends, we will provide you with the login details for that mailbox and for every employer account we created for you, after which they are yours to control. We will stop using them from that point.
Some platforms do not permit a third party to operate an account on your behalf. Where that is the case, or where an employer requires you personally to verify your identity, sign a declaration or confirm your right to work, we prepare the application and send it to you to complete and submit yourself. We will never sign a document, make a legal declaration or verify your identity on your behalf.
We apply using the information you provide. You are responsible for making sure that information is true, accurate and complete, including your qualifications, your work history and your permission to work in Ireland. We will not knowingly submit an application containing information we believe to be false, and we may suspend or end the service without refund if we discover that information you have given us is untrue.
We ask for the minimum we need in order to apply for jobs for you. We do not ask for your PPS number, your passport or IRP number, your bank or card details, or the password to any account you already hold, and you should not send them to us. If you do send them, we will delete them and ask you not to send them again.
Your client brief is submitted over an encrypted connection and is received and stored by our hosting provider, Netlify, who act as our processor. It is not passed through any third-party form relay service, and neither is any other form on this website. Access to submissions is limited to the person operating the service, protected by a unique password and two-factor authentication.
Any accounts and application mailboxes we create for you are protected by unique passwords that are never reused between clients and are held in an encrypted password manager. We will tell you without undue delay if we become aware of a personal data breach affecting your information, and we will notify the Data Protection Commission where we are required to do so.
Documents and briefs relating to your subscription are deleted within six months of your subscription ending, unless you ask us to keep them for longer or we are required to retain them to deal with a legal claim. You can ask us to delete everything sooner at any time.
Because you are buying a service online, you have a statutory right under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013 to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of subscribing, without giving a reason.
Where you ask us to begin work during that 14 day period, you may still cancel, but you agree to pay for the service actually provided up to the point you tell us you are cancelling, calculated proportionately. If we have not yet begun work, you receive a full refund. If you wish us to wait until the 14 days have passed before we start, tell us at onboarding and we will. Refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 days of us being notified.
We process subscriber data to prepare and submit applications, which is necessary for the performance of our contract with you under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Your data is shared with the employers you have asked us to apply to, and with Stripe for payment processing. Retention periods are set out in Section 06. All rights described in Section 07 apply, including the right to have your data deleted when you cancel.
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a subscription is limited to the fees you have paid us in the three months preceding the claim. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and none of it affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Follow the complaints procedure in Section 19. If we cannot resolve matters, you may contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission at ccpc.ie, or, if you are a consumer resident in another EU state, the European Consumer Centre Ireland at eccireland.ie.
Stratevera promotes your vacancy through our community and social channels, carries out basic screening of applicants, and introduces candidates we consider potentially suitable. Screening covers matters such as stated availability, location, stated eligibility to work and relevant stated experience. It is not a background check, a qualification check, a reference check, an identity check or a right-to-work verification.
Any fees payable by an employer, and the terms on which candidates are introduced, are set out in a separate written agreement between Stratevera and that employer. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer capable of acceptance or a binding quotation.
We provide our introduction service with reasonable care and skill, but to the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for the acts, omissions, performance, honesty, attendance or suitability of any candidate introduced, for any decision you take in reliance on our screening, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability arising from any engagement shall not exceed the fees actually paid to us in respect of that engagement.
Our WhatsApp community is made up of a main Job Opportunities group, a Community Lounge for discussion, tips and advice, and a read-only Legal and Compliance group for official updates. By joining you agree to the following:
Administrators may remove any message and remove or block any member who breaches these rules or the WhatsApp Terms of Service, at their discretion and without notice. Please also be aware that when you join a WhatsApp group, other members can see your display name and phone number; join only if you are comfortable with that. WhatsApp is provided by Meta and its own terms and privacy policy apply to your use of it.
Stratevera Recruitment is committed to equality of opportunity. We promote vacancies and screen candidates without discrimination on any of the nine grounds protected by the Employment Equality Acts 1998–2015: gender, civil status, family status, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, race, and membership of the Traveller community.
We will not accept or act on an instruction from an employer to exclude or prefer candidates on any of those grounds, and we will decline to promote a vacancy that appears discriminatory or otherwise unlawful. Genuine occupational requirements, and lawful restrictions such as minimum age limits for certain licensed work or immigration conditions on permitted working hours, are applied only where the law allows.
If you believe you have been treated unfairly by us, please contact us using the details in Section 20. You may also contact the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission or the Workplace Relations Commission.
The "Working in Ireland" guidance on this website — covering Irish workplace culture, employment rights, pay, tax registration, and student visa hour limits — is general information provided in good faith to help newcomers and students orient themselves. It is not legal, immigration, tax or financial advice, it is necessarily simplified, and it may become out of date as budgets, legislation and immigration policy change.
Always verify your own position with the official sources, including citizensinformation.ie, revenue.ie, gov.ie, irishimmigration.ie and the Workplace Relations Commission, or take professional advice. Stratevera accepts no liability for any action taken, or not taken, in reliance on this general guidance.
The CV Builder is a free tool provided as a convenience. While it is designed to produce a clean, single-column document that applicant tracking software can read, we cannot guarantee that any particular employer's system will parse it, that a CV produced with it will result in an interview, or that it is suitable for every sector or country. You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you put in your CV.

Where you submit content to us, such as a CV or vacancy description, you retain ownership of it and grant us permission to use it for the purposes described in this policy.
We want stratevera.com to be usable by as many people as possible, including candidates using assistive technology. In building this site we have aimed to provide sufficient colour contrast, visible keyboard focus indicators, descriptive labels on all form fields, meaningful alternative text, a layout that reflows on mobile devices, and reduced or disabled motion for visitors whose devices request reduced motion.
We know accessibility is never finished. If you encounter a barrier using this website, or need information in a different format, email strateverarecruitment@gmail.com or call +353 85 140 8770 and we will help you directly and work to fix the issue.
Recruitment activity in Ireland is regulated. Under the Employment Agency Act 1971, a business carrying on the business of an employment agency in the State must hold an employment agency licence, and operating without one is an offence. Licences are administered by the Workplace Relations Commission on behalf of the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment, are renewed annually, and require the licence holder to satisfy character, premises and vetting requirements.
Employment agencies are also restricted in the fees they may charge to job seekers. Stratevera charges no fee whatsoever for its recruitment activity: promoting vacancies, screening applicants, putting candidates forward and introducing them to employers are all free of charge to candidates, and no payment can improve a candidate's prospects with an employer. The optional Managed Applications subscription described in Section 12 is a separate document preparation and administrative service, is not a charge for obtaining or being considered for employment, and confers no advantage in any employer's selection process.
